DESCRIPTION:The Royal Gorge Chamber Alliance and the Ca on City Daily Record will be holding a candidate forum for both the Ca on City Council and Mayoral election\, and for the Ca on City School District RE-1 Board of Education Election.\n\n\n\nThe forum will be held in the Steeple Event Center at 701 Macon Avenue in Ca on City on Wednesday October 11.\n\n \n\nThe City Council forum will begin at 5:00 pm. and end at approximately 6:30. We will allow those district candidates who are running unopposed to have 3 to 4 minutes to speak. We will then have a Q&A forum with the candidates for the two at-large seats and then a panel for the two candidates for mayor.\n\n \n\nBoard of Education Forum featuring all six candidates will begin at 6:45 and end at approximately 8:15.\n\n \n\nCandidates will be given the opportunity to answer questions asked by the moderator with strict time limits for each answer. We will not be taking any questions from the audience.\n\n\n\nThe forum is being sponsored by the Royal Gorge Association of Realtors who will also be providing light refreshments for attendees.
