SUMMARY:Boo at the Bridge
DESCRIPTION:Trick or Treat! Boo on the Bridge\, the annual fun-filled evening at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park will take place Saturday\, October 24\, from 4:00-7:30 pm. Ghosts and Goblins can walk America's Highest Suspension Bridge\, fill their treat bags and have some howling fun.\n\n \n\n"Our trick or treat event at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park will look a little different this year\," said Peggy Gair\, Public Relations Manager. "COVID protocols are in place as we continue to provide a safe atmosphere for kids to enjoy themselves during the Halloween season\," she said.\n\n \n\nProtocols in place include staggering guest entrance in to the park to allow smaller groups to start Trick or Treating and booths will be spaced out more than usual. There will also be one-way foot traffic throughout the park.\n\n \n\n"Of course\, there will be social distancing\," said Gair\, and added all booth vendors will be enforcing social distancing in their areas. Only vendors can hand out and drop candy into each child's bag. Children will not be allowed to grab their own candy as a safety measure. All vendors and employees will be wearing masks\, and extra handwashing stations will be placed throughout the park. \n\n \n\n"All guests must wear a COVID protective mask if they are inside a building. Protective mask wearing for all ages is encouraged outside as well\," she said. "We expect to see some very creative masks this year!"\n\n \n\nVendors usually outdo each other with costumes and decorated booths\, said Gair and approximately 30 vendors plan on handing out treats. Caf 1230 will be open and snack carts throughout the park will be available. "The parents and vendors really enjoy this event also!"
