Annual Beulah Valley Arts and Crafts Show

The Beulah Valley Arts Council is proud to announce the 62nd Annual Beulah Valley Arts and Crafts Show. The show will continue to have a strong representation of homemade crafts in many forms—food, textiles, jewelry—and artworks from a variety of media—painting, sculpting, photography, pastels and three dimensional art. The first art shows in Beulah consisted of local artists hanging their art along the fence posts in Downtown Beulah, and the show continues to embrace the feel of traditional street shows for vendor and food booths. Through the years, it has varied its offerings. Expect to see food vendors with the arts and crafts booths on the streets and kids activities in the safety of the tennis courts, with area entertainers belting, crooning, and dancing from the new stage. Indoors, attendees will discover a themed exhibit and juried art show. This year's themed exhibit is “In Your Element—Earth, Air, Fire and Water" where artists will display works that reflect the whims and forces of nature. Representing theatre arts, is Beulah Valley's tradition of the Melodrama. This year’s show, “Flora, the Fur Trader's Daughter” by Alice McDonald is produced under the Beulah Valley Arts Council and is directed by Ms. Lori Lara, featuring Beulah stars as well as students from Beulah School of Natural Sciences. Dates are July 28, 29, 30, August 4, 5 and 6 at 7 pm at the Beulah Community Center. Tickets are $7 for Adults, $5 for Students and Seniors. There is a discounted rate of $5 per person for groups over 8. Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made at 719-485-3535.
