"Chair-ity" Silent Auction

“Chair-ity” Silent Auction Event! The Artists’ Gallery is sponsoring the first “Chair-ity” Silent Auction, with all proceeds to benefit Habitat for Humanity. The auction was inspired by the donation of 6 solid oak dining chairs, each of which have been artistically hand-embellished by six of the gallery’s member artists, who volunteered their time and talent to the project. The artists rose to the challenge and these delightfully imaginative chairs will be auctioned individually as functional works of art! The chairs are available for preview at The Artists’ Gallery from October 29th to November 2nd. Winners of each chair will be announced during the gallery’s “First Friday” artist’s reception on November 2nd at 7:00 p.m. Bidders do not have to be present to win but are encouraged to join in the fun! Stop in the gallery to view the chairs, pick out your favorite, place your bid, and support our local Habitat for Humanity!
