Nestled against the Wet Mountains on the peaceful grounds of the historic Holy Cross Abbey, The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey is one of Colorado’s most award-winning wineries and a premier destination in the Royal Gorge Region. What began as the dream of Benedictine monks has blossomed into a thriving winery producing 9,000–10,000 cases annually, blending history, tradition, and craftsmanship into every bottle. Since opening in 2002, the winery has earned over 1,000 medals in national and international competitions, including recognition as Colorado Winery of the Year.
The tasting room, open daily with seasonal hours, invites visitors to explore award-winning wines in a welcoming atmosphere guided by knowledgeable staff. Guests can enjoy a relaxing flight tasting or purchase favorites by the glass or bottle. The winery also offers gift items, curated wine packages, and a popular Wine Club featuring exclusive releases and member benefits.
